I also recently finally ‘got’ Battles. It’s basically Saturday morning cartoons soundtrack for Progressive Rock nerds. It’s not the kind of stuff you listen while scouring the forums over at SuperiorPics for Vanessa Hudgens photos and attempting to come up with ‘clever’ material for the next morning.
