The Spaniard comes through for the Lakers once again. The man in the middle, Pau Gasol was named Western Conference player of the week for his performance last week. Clocking in big minutes, big boards and big points while the media spotlight continues to shine brightly on Kobe. Fact: Without Gasol, the Lakers would not be high atop the NBA right now.
